Tilapia Recipes

Tilapia has a sweet, mild taste with lean flesh and a medium-firm, flaky texture. Our tilapia is raised without antibiotics or any other chemicals in pristine surroundings from the farms in Ecuador, Colombia, and Brazil. Tilapia is delicious baked, broiled, sauteed, and steamed. When cooked, the flesh turns white and flakes with ease.

Apricot and Almond Tilapia

Ingredients

  • 5-7 oz. tilapia fillet
  • cup almonds 
  • 1 tsp olive oil 
  • 1 cup dried apricots
  • A pinch of salt pepper 
  • A sprinkle of fresh rosemary

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Place tilapia on baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over tilapia.
  3. Combine the rosemary, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Rub mixture into tilapia.
  4. Spread out almonds on a baking sheet. Toast for about 7 minutes. Place tilapia in at the same time. 
  5. Take almonds out to cool. Take out tilapia after the full 10 minutes is up.
  6. Take tilapia out of oven and serve with the almonds and dried apricots on top. (Optional: crush toasted almonds to sprinkle over the finished tilapia.)
